After a long time we can finally say we’re very happy to take the first public step with Cattle and Crops today – and you’re right at the center of it all. Not only are we doing a server test – in order to test our digital infrastructure for a later release. Additionally we’re releasing a CnC Tech Demo.
The demo includes our development map and two vehicles: Claas Arion 530 and Köckerling Rebell Classic 410. Not only can you get a first-hand look at the map, the surroundings, the buildings and vehicles; there’ll also be a couple of quests which you can use to show off your cultivating capabilities in timed tests. The results will be stored in an online high score list and published later (completely optional, can be deactivated).

We’re currently in the process of preparing everything; starting from about (!) 8pm CET (7pm UTC, 2pm EST) we’re going to begin our server tests (should nothing interfere). You’ll receive the corresponding invitation via email shortly beforehand.

It won’t just be a test file, but rather you’ll receive a CnC tech demo, meaning you’ll be able to test Cattle and Crops for the first time!

If you want to support the development of Cattle and Crops or upgrade your current pre-order-package you are welcome to do so: after we received a number of requests we increased the number of the package Season Pass 2 Years from 500 to 650. This includes the game as well all the DLCs that will be released in the following two years.

The video shows a tutorial quest. This gives you a sneak peek into the gameplay of Cattle and Crops and what you can expect as an introduction into the Early Access. As devlog we go through the individual points of the tutorial mission. From the third track on, the AI, respectively the employee, takes over and handles the rest of the field.

We extended the roadmap last Tuesday. On the coming weekend we will have more updates, for example the new category ‘options’.

[EN] Fixing those holes in the roof
One thing essential for a good harvest is nice steady rain.
But: no cow likes it if the straw gets wet thanks to a leaking barn roof.
We have successfully solved this problem and managed to bring in the hay safe and dry in time. Even during heavy rain the farmer can inspect his property in a dry driver’s cab.

As announced recently, we’ve released the public Cattle and Crops mods roadmap, which is accessible to everyone starting today. The goal is to to give you some insight into our development plans and offer you an impression of what content you can expect from the first EA version and continuing afterwards.

A couple of details:
We’re working with four milestones that divide the Early Access phase chronologically. They do not have distinct dates yet, though.
The progress values roughly represent the current status, respectively.
